The March On! Festival is an annual celebration of independent film, storytelling, and community activism. As the Festival prepared for its 2025 season, organizers sought to update their digital presence with a modernized microsite that could highlight events, films, and sponsors, while giving attendees an intuitive way to engage with the Festival. The new site needed to reflect the Festival’s mission, support its rapidly expanding programming, and lay the groundwork for future years of content.
The previous March On! Festival microsite was outdated, difficult to navigate, and no longer aligned with the look and feel the Festival wanted to present. Key information, such as event schedules, film listings, and sponsor recognition, was not organized in a user-friendly way, making it harder for visitors to find what they needed quickly. To prepare for the 2025 Festival, the organization required a refreshed, professional design, a clearer structure, and a system that would make updates and future festival archives easy to manage.
BDG designed a modern, streamlined microsite tailored to the Festival’s priorities. Our UI/UX designer created a more polished visual design and restructured the site around the Festival’s key elements: events, films, and sponsors. Navigation was simplified to make it easier for attendees to explore the schedule, register for sessions, and access key details.
To support efficient collaboration, BDG used BugHerd to track edits and feedback throughout development. We also integrated Eventive, providing a smooth, user-friendly registration and ticketing experience directly within the site.
