The Pathways workforce-development program needed documentation across multiple cohorts, activities, interviews, and graduation ceremonies, which called for a production approach flexible enough to capture both formal milestones and everyday program moments.
Black Digital documented multiple Pathways cohorts across activities and interviews, produced government-building shoots and graduation ceremony coverage, delivered both long-form documentary and short-form video content, and built a reusable visual record spanning multiple program cycles. Video production for a public workforce program has to serve two purposes at once: capturing the formal milestones that matter for public accountability, and the everyday program moments that make the stories feel real.
The client described the footage as a valuable promotional tool for the program. The footage gave ONSE a visual record of the activities, progress, and formal milestones behind Pathways, usable to recognize participants, show the program to stakeholders, and support future recruitment. ONSE’s reported participant and certification figures establish the scale of what’s being documented; they aren’t outcomes caused by the video work itself.
