The 2026 NSBE Annual Convention website needed to support a phased campaign, help multiple distinct audiences find relevant information, accommodate frequent speaker and schedule updates, and connect visitors to registration and housing, all while remaining manageable for NSBE’s own communications team.
Black Digital redesigned the convention experience in WordPress, built information architecture supporting multiple audience journeys, delivered content operations and analytics planning, and provided quality assurance, training, and ongoing maintenance support. Convention websites face a unique challenge: content changes constantly right up until the event, and the team managing it needs to move fast without technical bottlenecks, so the site was built to move from wireframes through a phased landing page to full production publishing, with NSBE’s team able to manage updates independently.
A convention this size needs a website that keeps pace with constantly changing information, not one that becomes a bottleneck during the busiest planning months. This gave NSBE’s communications team an editable platform built for that reality.
