ISC produces an annual report for funders, partners, and community stakeholders that documents its impact across a wide range of initiatives, from equitable building decarbonization in U.S. communities to sustainable manufacturing programs abroad. The report had to reflect this breadth while reinforcing ISC’s credibility and telling a clear, human story.
The content spanned multiple regions, sectors, and program types, including financial data, international partnerships, environmental justice initiatives, and workforce development programs. Organizing this volume of complex information into something clear, compelling, and accessible was the central design challenge.
We developed a structured editorial framework that balanced clarity with storytelling. A consistent grid system allowed diverse content to coexist within a unified visual structure. Strong section openers created clear entry points for each major initiative, and data visualization was used to make complex program outcomes accessible. Repeatable templates were built to support future annual reports, ensuring efficiency and consistency as ISC continues to grow.
The final publication presents ISC as a trusted leader in sustainability, community development, and environmental justice. The design reinforces institutional credibility while clearly communicating local and global impact, supporting both fundraising efforts and partner engagement.
