The UDC Law Clinic needed a polished annual newsletter to close out 2025 and communicate the year’s impact to students, faculty, alumni, donors, and community partners. The publication needed to capture the depth and humanity of the Clinical Program, spanning immigration and housing advocacy, tax law, whistleblower protection, and more, while working as both a print document and a digital flipbook.
The project ran during the holiday window with a hard delivery deadline and content arriving from multiple stakeholders across different clinics. Evolving inputs and late-stage revisions created pressure on the timeline while the school’s credibility and stakeholder relationships depended on a high-quality final product.
We established a clear production timeline with milestone checkpoints and centralized feedback to streamline approvals. The design system was built around a flexible editorial grid that unified the many clinic stories under one cohesive visual identity. Clear section openers differentiated each clinic while maintaining overall consistency. Photography of students, faculty, and community work brought authenticity and emotional resonance to the content.
Delivered on schedule within a compressed end-of-year timeline. The publication strengthened brand consistency across Law Clinic communications and gave the school a reusable template system for future issues.
