Sojourn Strategies — 10th Anniversary Campaign

Overview

Sojourn Strategies is a Black woman-owned, all-women-run social impact consulting firm based in Washington, DC, working at the intersection of advocacy, research, and philanthropy. Founded by Dr. Katrina L. Gamble, the firm has spent a decade shaping some of the most innovative campaigns for racial justice, criminal justice reform, and Black political power in the country. To mark their 10th anniversary, Sojourn needed a creative partner to bring the milestone to life: a custom anniversary brand, a visual timeline of the firm’s history, a testimonial video, and event assets for their February celebration.

Challenge

A 10-year anniversary campaign for a firm of Sojourn’s significance required creative that honored the depth of a decade of impact while projecting forward momentum. The materials needed to feel credible and visually compelling, capturing both the human story and the strategic legacy of the organization, all within a timeline tied to a live event.

Approach

We led the project through three phases: Discovery (kickoff, content intake, review of the 10-year history outline, narrative and theme mapping), Strategy and Creation (anniversary logo development, visual timeline design, case study templates, testimonial video production, and website updates), and Implementation (final delivery in editable and production-ready formats, event asset preparation, and rollout support across email, social, and print). The centerpiece was a custom 10-year anniversary logo, supported by a visually engaging milestone timeline and a compiled testimonial video drawing on client voices.
