The Association needed a usable digital tool grounded in clear user needs, practical workflows, and accessible interfaces, giving physician members a functional portal rather than a static informational site. A medical association’s member portal has to work for busy physicians who don’t have patience for a clunky digital experience, so Black Digital conducted user research to define member portal requirements, built information architecture around physician member needs, designed accessible interfaces for the redesigned platform, and delivered development, testing, and launch support around that practical reality.
A functional member portal only works if it respects members’ limited time. This redesign gave National Medical Association physicians a tool built around that constraint.
