The Unsung Heroes campaign was developed to support March On!’s mission to spotlight overlooked figures from the civil rights and health equity movements. For each hero, the team conducted original research, developed a script, recorded audio narration, and produced a complete short-form video from scratch. Nine videos were created and released throughout 2025, distributed across social media and integrated into monthly newsletters to deepen year-round engagement.
This was original content production at scale. Each video required its own research, narrative development, and production workflow, with no preexisting footage or scripts to build from. Maintaining quality and storytelling consistency across nine separate subjects, while keeping the campaign active and visible throughout the year, required disciplined creative and production management.
We built a repeatable production system that allowed us to move efficiently from research to script to final video without sacrificing the care each subject deserved. Content strategy aligned release timing with key moments in the campaign calendar, and each video was adapted for social distribution and newsletter integration to maximize its reach and shelf life.
