The ELC needed a sophisticated conference identity and production system for the CEO GameChanger Conference, a one-day, invitation-only event bringing together Fortune 500 CEOs, board directors, and their senior-most executives for peer-to-peer sessions, keynotes, panels, and fireside chats built to equip CEOs with what they need to advance Black talent inside their own organizations. Few agencies get to design for a room this senior; The ELC wanted a partner who could manage the full marketing, communications, and production picture for an event unlike almost anything else in the professional-association space.
Black Digital has supported CEO GameChanger since its inception, creating the conference’s overall corporate branding, logo, stage backdrops, program book, and promotional materials year after year, not as a single engagement. The 2023 conference’s theme, “Breakthrough,” explored the enablers that actually advance Black talent inside organizations; more recent years have taken on themes like “Leading Inclusively through a Challenging Landscape,” bringing together CEOs and board directors to work through how inclusive leadership drives innovation and growth. Designing for a room full of Fortune 500 CEOs means every asset has to carry itself without explanation, so the identity was built to feel intentional and confident rather than trying too hard to impress an audience that’s difficult to impress.
The branding gave the conference crisp, clean stage backdrops behind some of corporate America’s most powerful CEOs and helped attendees engage with the immersive program The ELC built around it. An event for this level of audience either earns credibility instantly or loses it just as fast. This identity gave The ELC’s CEO GameChanger Conference the polish that senior leaders expect, year after year.
