The DC Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement works to promote public safety through community-based violence prevention, intervention, engagement, and support. Its work centers residents, families, and neighborhoods impacted by violence and creates opportunities for healing, connection, and prevention.
Black Digital supported ONSE across event ideation, event marketing, videography, photography, storytelling, content capture, community engagement materials, and digital content. Our work helped ONSE document important community moments, support public-facing events, and create communications that reflected both the seriousness and humanity of its work.
We provided two years of video, photo, and event storytelling support, captured and supported multiple community-centered events through creative content production, and developed story-driven assets focused on public safety, healing, and community engagement.
